Bio

One colour was never enough.

Adar Alfandari is a Berlin-based multi-instrumentalist and songwriter who has been bending strings and writing songs since he was a kid. His music moves between acoustic folk and ’90s alternative rock, held together by intricate guitar parts and melodies that somehow survive even the hairiest fuzz.

He first made noise as the singer and guitarist of the Israeli alt-rock band Dor Hamabul, before moving to Europe and releasing two solo albums, Gold Dust (2021) and Amateur Architect (2023). The band formed to tour the second record became The Running Ducks — his loud side.

Solo, it goes the other way. Weary Roots / Walk It Off (2026) is an intimate acoustic double single, somewhere in the quiet, close-up world of Nick Drake.
